The Bird Shop is a family owned Australian bird sales business. We are local and provide healthy birds for people in Perth, Western Australia.

We do fright larger birds as long as the buyer pays and arranges the fright and pays an extra $150 fright fee.
About us
Hello, my name is Thanos and I am the owner of The Bird Shop. I have been training birds since I was nine and I began handling Macaws when I was 11. I am very experienced with all types of parrots and so are the other members of The Bird Shop. With our experience we source our birds from the highest quality breeders in WA. All of our birds are very friendly and gentle, all of our birds from small to large parrots are hand raised or hand tamed.

Feel free to contact us about questions about our or your birds, even if you have a different type of bird(s) we have much experience.

You can also pre order a bird before it is available and we will hold one specially for you. We will only require a deposit when the bird has hatched and is close to being old enough to be sold.

Can you care for a parrot?

Parrots have incredible IQ and need mental stimulation, new toys and attention from their owner.
Before buying a parrot you have to ask yourself: "Do I have enough time in my schedule to provide the amount of attention my bird needs?"
Having said that owning a lovable talking parrot can be extremely rewarding and fulfilling!!
